There is a monthly support group in Maple Ridge run by Ian Moore. I believe it still meets at the Family Education and Support Centre. Ian can be reached at 604-944-9030.
If you are looking for services for someone with an acquired brain injury, Fraser Health offers the Acquired Brain Injury Program which includes rehab services, residential placements and community support. They can be reached at 604-520-4175.
There are other Brain Injury Associations in BC not listed above. If you are living in Northern BC there is the Northern Brain Injury Association (1-866-979-4673), the Prince George Brain Injured Group (250-564-2447) and the Bulkley Valley Brain Injury Association (250-877-7723).
