Having a brain injury is no laughing matter. But that doesn’t mean victims lose their sense of humour. Just ask the self-proclaimed “five crazy guys,” a group of men who are coping with brain injuries.
They meet every week at the Community Head Injury Resource Services building in Toronto with thier clinical psychologist, Caroline Lemsky, to share their experiences and to keep each other smiling.
Tune is as the “five crazy guys” provide insight into their minds and lives, both inside and outside the meetings. The series runs Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next three weeks.
Listen to Outfront at 8:43 p.m. (9:13 NT) on CBC Radio One for inspirational tales of perseverance, determination and humour.
